Been taking my vehicles to Eagle Valley Auto cause it was convenient but my last experience was it! I Only came to see what's was wrong with my brake lights which they have fixed in the past so I took it back to them, brake switch was under warranty so they fixed it. Drove my truck home and noticed it smoking from under the car which it never done before so I took it back and Jeff Says I have a leak he showed me under my car which looked like they put transmission oil on my exhaust and other parts under the car which caused it to smoke Jeff says he will do a transmission flush and get all the oil clean up to see where oil leak coming from for 107.00, After he does that he calls me like I don't see no leaks your good to go like they fixed the issue only to drive home and check an hour later that my tranny is leaking and I can actually see where it is leaking from but he didn't smh EAGLE VALLEY AUTO ARE CROOKS OF THE AUTO INDUSTRY Do any and Everything to get money out of people THEY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS They Are No Help To The Community of Grain Valley if they are doing these type of SCAMS!
Confused, my brother in-law and myself ask for some details and explanation. Man at the counter appeared to take offense to our questions of how they discovered the problem and what the $45 charge is for when a wrench never touched the vehicle. After some glares and annoyed responses to our basic questions, we paid the $45 and left and won't be back, nor will we send any friends or family there. Basic custom service skills lacking.
They got me right in the Friday of Memorial Day weekend & replaced my hard to find water pump & got me out within about 3 hours. Reasonably priced & knowledgeable.
I took my vehicle into Eagle Valley about six months ago for some basic maintenance. However during this process the mechanics broke my key off in my ignition. As you can imagine I was not pleased to hear this news. However instead of fixing my car and getting me two new keys with the Proper coding they ziptl tyed the broken key inside my steering column without telling me. Just recently my car broke down while I was driving it (I took my care to Anderson automotive) but they could find nothing wrong other than the fact that one of my keys was ziptyed inside the stearing column so when the car experienced bumps it would brake down due to the car not being able to read the key. So I've tried for six whole months to get Eagle Valley Auto to get me a new key because they broke mine. And every time I talk to them they claim they are not responsible. About 3 months ago I sat inside Eagle Valley Auto for well over 5 hours and then they went to my car and said nothing was wrong ( I had experienced brakedowns before that for some reason would fix itself) Do not I repeat DO NOT take your car to this establisment because it seems as though they do not want to take responsibility for their actions. If you do take your car here and they mess up do not expect them to help you out in any way. They will ask you pay way more to fix their mistake!
We have used them for years with a variety of year, make , and model of vehicles. They are always friendly, courteous, and take the time to describe what they're doing and why. Most importantly they always stay within my budget and get me back on the road quickly and safely!
Dropped an expedition off with brake problems. The brakes weren't bleeding properly. They founda problem by pulling it in and looking at it from underneath, found calipers on backwards. Pulled it back out and parked it. $45
